Map and location
The open-air museum

På norsk

The Glomdal Museum has almost 2000 square metres of exhibitions, offering a fascinating variety of permanent and temporary exhibitions. The exhibitions are located partly in the main building, and partly in the grand old exhibition building from 1939, which is newly renovated and displays new, modern exhibitions.

Most of the temporary exhibitions are related to the museum's multicultural work - primarily concerning the Gipsy/Romany people. The museum's new Mulitcultural Centre, which is organised as a separate museum project, also shows exhibitions of other peoples who have immigrated to our part of the country in recent years.
